This Saturday, October 6 in Rockville Town Square, friends, families and co-workers will gather to celebrate survivors of blood cancer and commemorate those who lost their battle at the annual Light The Night Walk. Approximately 2,000 people are expected to take part in this event to raise funds and awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society?s (LLS) National Capital Area Chapter. The walk will begin at twilight, providing a beautiful backdrop as walkers turn on their illuminated red, white and gold balloons to demonstrate to all that they are not alone in their fight against cancer. The Montgomery County event will be emceed by WUSA9?s Lesli Foster and WBIG?s Lisa Berigan.
