A friend recently checked out the costs involved in holding his daughters 21st at various local venues, to say he was shocked is an understatement!
Before he had even considered food or drinks, he was already nearing the mental budget that he had set for the event.
Room deposit, room hire, extra staff, security, transport to and from the venue? it all adds up pretty quickly at these ?free venues?
??. And, then they want you to leave just when the party?s starting!
Dave asked me to come over and have a look at his home and advise what we could do for him to throw a memorable 21st for his little girl.
The rear carport for a start, provided an excellent surface for the Black and White Dance Floor, which he assured me would see some of his ?classic moves? later in the evening. The two easy to erect pop-up shelters provided the perfect bar area, with high Bar Tables and Stools complimenting the mixing of guests, rather than sitting in small groups at tables.
The large Chrome Ice Barrels had plenty of refreshments available to the dancers and spectators ? with specialty drinks available from the Illuminated Bar ??.provided by the Walkers Bar Staff, which kept a sensible eye on revelers.
The dancers could take a break on the Illuminated Cubes that framed the dance floor, and provided the ideal subdued lighting where even the most reluctant dancer could give it a whirl!
Dave?s daughter Emma and her friends had a great time decorating with the Helium Balloon Kit and Coloured Rope Lights?? and the Poster Size Photos of Emma at various ages were a great hit with family and friends. Emma rang me (a few days later!) and said it was the best night of her life, and all her friends had rated it the best 21st they?d been to!
The small group of family and close friends that gathered in the shelters after the crowd had left relaxed into the early hours with the conversation going to all those funny/embarrassing/family type subjects.
????. Those times are golden!
